As I mentioned it to you in the other thread, I have a Kenwood model #XXV-05V. Any ways it comes with a tv tuner too and two powered antennas. I must say though that being powered didn't do much to improve reception; slight improvement but not enough to make much of a difference. To test things out, I did pull one out and it really didn't matter. Maybe for your model it may or may not matter. I would test it out prior to cleaning up your installation to see if that second antenna would make much of a difference. Hope this helps.
