well i honestly dont know if its the same or not. i just did mine on my 95 civic. The motor is out...so it was easier.
take the cover off in the car. 2 10 mm bolts holding a dual universal swivel connector. slide it out. 2 17mm bolts on the drivers side, 2 14 mm bolts on the passenger side. dissconnect all lines, and 2 tie rods.
I literally swapped from power to manual in a half hour. Its easy. But you have to get creative in order to not drop the sub frame brace.
