Yep, it's a marine battery, but that just means it has skinny little screw down posts in addition to the SAE terminals. I just put electrical tape over the screw down terminals. I should probably cut them off or see if they're removable, but I've just never bothered. It's still extremely powerful, still has the long reserve and quick recharge, its pretty much the same as the yellow top, except I think the yellow top has within like 15 minutes more reserve and about 100 more CCA's. And yeah, a redtop is better than a regular battery if you're strapped, but it's much, much better to get a deep cycle for a car with a system.
