Isn't a blue top for marine usage? Anyway, local store told me that a red top would work out fine if I was concern about cost. Anyone else heard this? My understanding of these optima batteries are as follow:

red top - starting/high performance vechicles
yellow top - starting/deep cycle
blue top - starting/deep cycle marine
