Probably because it's a quasi-artsy-fartsy movie somewhat lacking in anything that would qualify as mainstream appeal, dirty language and limited shots of coartoonified boobies notwithstanding. :dunno:

Here in Madison it's showing at the local art house type theater that generally shows smaller more independent style movies.
