First i would call Honda Of America... not your dealer, HOA. my personal story about HOA. All my family has ever owned is hondas since the early 80s. So my moms 98 v6 accord was about the 4th brand new honda about the 6th used one my family had bought. So when the transmission started going out about 110K last year, my mom called the dealership and was like WTF? I have owned about 10 hondas all of which never needed more than regular maintainance, and all had over 200k when sold or traded. Now i want to know WTF is up with this one and what you are going to do about it. Turns out they had ALOT of problems out of those trannies. HOA, had the local dealer(who by the way said they wernt going to do a damn thing about it) replace it when a brand new transmission and all my mom had to pay for was the labor to put it in. SO CALL HOA and bitch them out, They will more than likely do somthing about it.
