my friend tried this swap,... keyword tried. yes the head will bolt right on the h23 block. if only it was that simple. the pistons will come up and hit. he had it at a local machine shop and after much money and time was invested, he ended up tearing it all back down and selling the parts on ebay. i know your trying to get out cheap with something big, but really to do this the right way, you would have to buy all new parts for the block. im not sure if its as simple as shaving the pistons, but i guess you could try that. either way you would have to take the block completely apart. not worth it man. just build a h22. and spray or something. youll have much more relibility with the motor. plus, if you keep stock internals with that swap, the bottom wont take the 7500 rpm that the head will. so unless you get a vtec controller, and get it tuned, youll have vtec for like 1000 rpms. seems pointless
