The HID capsule sits exactly where the 9006 filament sat. I cut up the base of the D2S bulb to make it work. Granted, the headlight optics aren't designed for HID, the glare isn't gonna be bad at all when adjusted. I've put HID in many different DOT spec headlights with very little glare problems.
