Yesterday I was speeding on the uphill road ( around 80 mph), my rpm going around 3500 to 4000, then i changed D3 to D4, but the rpm ramain the same around 4000. In normal road condition, when i change D3 to D4, the rpm goes below 3000. But in this case is it didn't change. Is It a a sign of a bad transmission? or is it normal for a car when going uphill in that speed. Anyone have any idea what it might be?
since your still going up the hill the tranny was probably still in third gear.
Speed login control or something like that.
