Default Another clutch question...

As you all may know I just purchased 98 teg gsr. I installed a new timing belt last week and am contemplating some suspension upgrades. The car is completely stock as of now.
A clutch question: My clutch does not seem to grab until the pedal is almost all the way out. Seriously, it feels like the last inch of travel until it grabs. I have always been under the impression that this is a sign of a worn clutch. I remember in my crx I would just adjust the cable to relieve this, but I don't know much about the hydro system. So, is there a way to adjust this or is this in fact a sign that my clutch is wearing? It doesn't seem to slip at all, but I don't like how it doesn't grab until the pedal is almost all the way out. TIA fellas.
If I do replace the clutch from what i've searched on here is that a stage 1 is a good replacement for oem. I'll probably only have the bolt on mods eventually, nothing major. Is there an advantage of a stage 1, say exedy, over a stock replacement? Would an oem ITR clutch kit fit in my tranny and if so would it be better than a gsr oem?
