I have only had a chilton for the past 3 1/2 years since I got the car and didnt know a thing about cars. well if having the chilton as my only reference and I have re-built my entire engine twice and re-wired every wire in my car; yet only having the chilton as my only reference well than I guess your the only person on this thread that had to purchase the helms which ive never heard of from any dealership, and you say it makes things easier but I don't get it because chilton has torque spec's and electrical diagrams as well with ECU code numbers and fuse no. along with color coded info. so you say easy and my next thought is did the helms do the work for you??? because thats where the hardest part of mechanic's is... not reading. Hey but whatever works for you I guess me I like the chilton it has everything needed to do an entire engine or a complete electrical re-wiring but it's not in color and you do have to read everything... which means if you don't understand what your reading you shouldn't be working on the car(s) because chances are your going to blow off that step.
