The Maitenance Required light is just a reminder light. It is not indicative of any fault in the motor, simply a reminder to perform the scheduled preventative maintenance. The Integra FAQ thread has the instructions you need to reset it.

It sounds like your clutch is on the wane (since you say you can smell it at high-rpm). If it is slipping at high rpm, that will reduce the amount of power reaching the wheels, making the car feel less powerful.
