Alright thanks. I wasn't sure if I just bolt the speaker right onto the frame, or if it needs a basket.

I did a quick search and I guess there is some kind of a speaker adapter meant for the rear speaker deck for civics (part # PC2-825) so cutting and splicing and whatnot is not necessary.
