Rear speakers on a 93 Civic DX coupe
Did a search and found no relevant information.
Just wondering what is needed to install a set of speakers (I'm guessing 6.5") on the rear deck of a 93 civic dx coupe.
Already have the fiberboard cutout with the factory grill installed, I'm just not sure if there is supposed to be some kind of mount for the speaker to sit it in (like the front where it's mounted in a 'cage' and not directly on the door). Or do you just mount the speaker directly to the car?
Also, is the car prewired? I see a couple of wires at the rear of the car that require a harness for both, is this how the EX speakers are hooked up to the radio? Where do I get the other harness to hook up the speakers to the rear wiring?
I'm not an audiophile by any means, but just want something nice to hear in the car. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
