i don't know, my 94 honda is noisy (clickedy, clack, especially in cold weather) even with the quiet timing belt. my cars got 133k and never been changed. i'll wait till it self destructs so i can get a new car.
Go drive a 240sx and see how loud their timing chains are and you'll understand that they are severely noisier than belts.
