Look at the torque figures. The B16 makes a good amount less torque, which means it will be harder to get a heavier car moving. Notice that the B16 comes in cars that are lighter than the integra....IE Civic SI, Del Sol, JDM CRX. If the B16 was so great, they would have put it in all the integras instead of spending loads of money on 1.8L development.
