The "blue" bulbs can actually decrease your visibility due to the color spectrum of the light produced. Try some Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. They're expensive, but really nice. I put a set in my wife's '01 Accord a while ago and they've been working great.
That's what I got on mine... silverstar bulbs are nice. Got them both for low and high beams. Cheap if you compare them to HID conversions plus it helps to get them when they're on sale; buy one set, get another for free.
Oh yes, got them for my OEM fog lights too.
