I have destroyed 2 aluminum flywheels since I have been racing due to loose bolts. The only thing I can think of is the aluminum expands then contracts when cold, therefore pushing the bolts out when its hot & then they are loose when the fly gets cold.

I have just put on a chromoly flywheel & will test out this setup. I put red loctite on new flywheel bolts & if this doesnt work, I will sarety wire all my bolts so they WILL NOT back out.
