If you haven't been keeping up lately, Congress has been spending a lot of time talking about prosecuting the New York Times for printing, uh, not much of anything, and apparently we're back to discussing making flag burning illegal.

What the hell is wrong with these idiots? Are we running out of legitimate problems? I can't help but notice that Social Security is still doomed, the borders are still a mess, and Osama bin Laden is still a free man. Isn't there anything more pressing that these assholes should be working on?

I'm tempted to place blame squarely on the jiggly shoulders of Karl Rove, and the shriveled testicles of Rush Limbaugh, but the truth is that the Democratic Party and obnoxious left-wing pundits are just as guilty as their counterparts on the other side of the aisle. Together, these attention whores and power-grabbing jerkoffs have lowered the level of debate in this country until its no longer recognizable as anything resembling governing or discourse.

Congress: fuck you. Stop now and get your asses back to work.
