Pioneer won't do that to you.
Just make sure you read the book that comes with it. Every now and then I pick mine up, and discover thing I didn't know before. And soundfields are going to be to YOUR liking. Switch up the sound fields when you watch a movie. Not all movies sound best on the same soundfield.
