IMO: Buy a B16A (good starter motor), get all type R internals, cams, the works.

10 second street car, its possible, but it would be better if it were RWD and not FWD....

Im not you, and I am not sure how attatched you are to that civic, but I would sell the hatch, and the motor, to someone who wants to do the swap, and buy a RWD car.
