i'm confused on what you are asking exactally. DO you mean that you have a stock upper arm with a bad ball joint, or do you mean that the one on your ingalls arm is bad? If it is the stock arm then I don't believe you can replace it without a new arm. If it is the ingalls kit i don't know. But if you decide to go with a new arm the omni is what I have on my 01. Basically the exact same as the skunk but cheaper. Install is not a problem if you have the right tools of course. For my job I needed a ball joint remover which I rented for free from AutoZone. All you have to do is pay the deposit which is refunded to you when you return the tool. Pretty Cool. Here is a pic of my front suspension with the omni upper arm. Hope this helps.
