Upper Control Arm and Camber
So apparently my upper control arm ball joint is "falling out". The steering does feel a little loose and the wheel can jiggle a little back and forth with the wheel off the ground. So i agree. They said I have to replace the entire control arm. With labor and parts.....like 800. NO WAY. I do most work myself on my car. So that is not a problem. However I was thinking of getting the Skunk 2 camber kit that replaces the upper control arm and includes an adjustable bushing/ball joint. However I already have an ingalls camber kit. My question is.....Can you replace the bushing/ball joint without replaceing the whole arm. If not, does anyone have a skunk 2 upper control arm and how is the install. Any other ideas. I mainly dont want to just get another oem arm due to price. I had the camber kit installed with bushings so I am guessing I will have to get new oem mounting bolts to go back in........Probably just resell the ingalls. It is about a year old and they are expensive new. I Plan on replacing trailing arm bushings at same time and having a full alignment done.
thanks for any input
