You probably won't even notice a difference.

It would be a thicker oil at operating temperatures, so there may be a little bit of windage losses, but probably not anything noticable.

If you want to switch to synthetic, switch to synthetic. I switched at 145k and saw no increase/decrease in oil consumption.
