this is by far the best advice yet....a lot of newcomers also dont relize that the car that floors it first...will probaly win. a car the "jumps" the line...or punches it first will often get a huge lead.
and what i said earlier about removing the altenator.....i meant it for the guy that was critizing me about "screw turbo...he wnats cheap horespower!!!!" i was just taking it one more level and didnt mean for the si driver to actaully take this into consideration although it would work if you had a good battery. but the gain would be minimal.
i say to take your car to the track...learn to launch it better...learn to shift better. then take that experience to that same nissan ser driver.
street racing isnt stupid (this day and age i do agree it is bad)...without street racing....where would the sport of drag racing be???? yes i think it is stupid downtown or with a shitload of traffic......and a lot of bad things can come of it. but it needed to be done at some point in time for us to get this far. street racing will always be... as sad as that is. just wish people who did it would not drive with one hand at 12 "pimpin" it. and that they wouldnt take the car to triple digit speeds. you can already tell which car would probaly win within the first 100 feet....so why push more then that?
