i think you installed them incorrectly... what was your exact procedure for removing the front strut assembly? the only way your steering wheel would be off would be if you miss-adjusted your tie rod ends, which should not have been adjusted at all during the process. but keep in mind that when you changed your camber by lowering your car, you also changed toe, but there shouldnt be enough of a change to make your wheel crooked.
