Ok, I am a fugging idiot. The crane with the magnet is actually where I first got introduced to my new buggy. I continued on and destoryed that ship...then when the guys opened the new gate for me to go through, I was distracted with playing with my shotty and didnt go through the new gate. I was actually retracing my steps and continued on to where I began h:
