6th gen Accord is a heavy ass platform for speed. The H22 will fit into that chassis, but it's a decent amount of work and the gains aren't very impressive.

The only logical way I'd spend money swapping the H22 into the 6th gen was if I had ridiculous horsepower goals. The H22's when properly setup can make serious power.

Outside of that, I'd stick with your current F23 SOHC. As much as it sucks, cost effectively it's your only option.

I'm pretty sure there's a wide variety of company that makes internals for your car, and you can probably make pretty decent power with a light build and moderate boost.
