I made this mistake when I first started buying add-ons for my car. I personaly bought the chrome Dual Halo Projectors for my Civic. However once the rings started to flicker and ultimately go out, I began to realize that these headlights, even though they may look cool, dont light up the road for shit. Plus, they make the upgrade to HIDs impossible because they are manufactured so cheaply that the temperature from the HIDs would melt the plastic housing. So, in all my new found wisdom, I bought a pair of clear OEM-style headlamps, and soon after installed a 6000k HID kit. I must say that not only does the car not look ricey anymore, but I can see so much better. OEM + HID is the way to go !!
