seems to me like the front end is longer and shorter (vertically) on a 5th gen, plus as square as the rest of the 5th gen is, it's not going to go with the curves of the fourth gen if you just do it from where the corner lights of the 4th gen front go you might be able to pull it off with enough cutting and fiberglassing, but there's still going to be the problem of asthetics, curves on a square doesn't work well. The sharp lines of the 5th gen make it beautiful, the curves of the 4th gen make it beautiful, and the front end of the 4th gen is better than the front of the 5th and the rear of the 5th is better than the 4th, but none of that make them compatible asthetically. Let whichever be what it is. My opinion.
