I am the proud owner of an F22B1 with 183k on it and it runs great. I do know some specs on this motor. It makes 145 hp at 5,500 rpm and 147 ft-lb of torque at 4,500 rpm. On this engine VTEC engages at 3,500 rpm and it redlines at 6,300 rpm. This engine has an aluminum, open deck, iron sleeved block with an aluminum head. It has a 85mm bore and a 95mm stroke with an 8.8:1 compression ratio. This is a well built very reliable engine. The F22B1 Engine was also featured on the first Ward's 10 Best Engines List in 95 and again in 96. I'm not too sure on cam specs and putting a JDM F22B head on, but I have read of people saying they have done this head swap and that it worked, but required the plugging of one oil drain hole in the head. Look around you'll probably find info on the head swap. The F22 Engines are also said to be ideal for turbo thanks to their stock iron sleeves and low cylinder compression.
