He has worked as an engineer for TRD as well.
His choice of automobile doesn't diminish his input.

The fundamental dynamics of tuning are the same, whether you're building an N/A SR20VE or an N/A B18C1. Sure, Nissan's VVL system is mechanically different from Honda's VTEC, but the basics don't change.

I learned my NA tuning on a MKII GTi 16v. I tore down the head, had it P&P'd and decked, then fitted a new valvetrain and hotter cams. Are you saying that the principles I learned on a VW don't apply to a Honda?
