It had the ability to do A LOT more than I ever used it for. And I stopped using it when apt-get updated it one day to a version 2 and lost all my config that I had spent days getting right. I was just so frustrated I stoped using it. But while I was using it, it was pretty damn cool.
I've spent the past day and a half getting it running / checking. so far i'm monitoring about 30 servers for http functions. I think i'm gonna order the book on it though. so much stuff.

In the end, i'll have about 10,000 checks running, so i'll probably have a few servers running it...well, atleast one on each of the clusters i monitor.
