for the same reason, it's harder for a cut dude to contract something like the HIV, since the calloused skin acts like a shield.

but anyway, getting cut is a barbaric practice, if you ask me. there's absolutely no reason for it anymore, unless you think you're going to be banging a lot of HIV+ folks.
