What do I need one for? If someone wants to call me I have an answering machine at home. If it's an emergency, well I'll get there when I get there. If it's a personal emergency when I'm out somewhere...someone around usuallly has a cell phone. Biggest reason I don't have a cell phone...they don't work in my house, I either have to go outside or at least stand in a window to get reception. It doesn't matter who the provider is either they just don't work in my house. I also don't need to feed my ego with a cell phone. I had one for a while when I had my business, made the mistake of giving the number to clients, they would complain that they couldn't reach me on my cell phone when I was at home...I shut it off because I have a phone at home that I didn't have to pay for them to call me on. The work I did wasn't emergency work so it's not like I needed to be reached at all hours and in all places.
