ok people this is where we put aside our automotive difference's and cruise for a cause, its a poker run for people of all ages along the oregon coast on JULY 8th. heres a little info on it, this is to raise money for the make a wish foundation.

Cards for Kids

The event starts at Camp 18, a nice little restaurant on highway 26 towards Seaside. We will be there from 9a.m. to 12. Camp 18 used to be an old logging camp and they have quite a bit of antique equipment out and around the parking lot. Inside you will find a hunters cabin with antler chandeliers, and some very good food at a decent price. You will receive your first card and a map with directions to the next stops. Each stop is spaced out a bit so you can enjoy the drive and visit some scenic areas along the way.

2nd stop will be in the Cannon Beach area. We will have people there from 10-1. And a map of a couple places in the area for nice little photo shoots.

3rd stop will be at Barview Jetty State Park south of Rockaway Beach. You can find someone handing out cards from 11-2, along with some tips on places where you can find the beach, nice views and more photo opportunities.

4th stop is going to be at the Tillamook Cheese Factory, where you can take a minute to go on the tour and get some of their great cheese and famous ice cream. We will be handing out cards from 12-3

The 5th and final location is being worked on at the moment. We needed a place that possibly a couple hundred cars can stop and wait to find out whose hands are the best, and who gets the prizes.
It will be open from 1 - 4. At 4 we will then tally up whoever has the best hands.

Each location will also have a little game, raffle or some way of winning an extra prize or two. We will be handing out goodie bags to the first people to register.

Now this is being put on by a volkswagen car club in the nothwest, but dont hate, i own a vdub and still roll my 96' hatch til the day i die, even if you dont like vdubs come for the kids have fun meet new people, it doesnt matter what you drive,vw,hond,acura,chevy,ford,,hyundai,a moped ect... its $10 dollars a person to play thats not alot and even if you cant make it register send $10 paypal and tell them you cant make it but wanna donate local bussiness' are donating money and prizes for raffles and for the foundation, there will be news media and news paper media its going to be a blast, total photo ops, find a vdub, park next to it take a picture and help break the import/euro barrier its for a good cause. if you think you can go or what not hit me up on here or let me know what u think. just trying to get the word out!! thanks everyone and hope to see and meet you there
