Get Brembo blank rotors; cheap and effective. They used to sell for $20 each at collettimotorsports.com. Resurfacing your rotors is the biggest waste of money IMO; makes the rotor weaker and cost just as much for labour.

As for brake pads...I've heard the Hawks are too aggressive for the street (dust + noise). I love my Axxis Metalmasters...lots of dust but it's ridiculously easy to clean. They've taken me through one track day and several autocross events.
