We had everything ass backwards. He hooked the gauge directly to the vacuum source and he did get a reading of -.5 bar.
Here's how I'm gathering you hook it up (but I know there's a couple ways)
-Connect BOV to vacuum source (either intake Man. to FPR or through break booster)
-Connect that line to manual boost controller
-Connect wastegate actuator to boost controller
Will this setup work?
Also I read somewhere that we should connect the wastegate actuator directcly to the vacuum source to see if it will open up. I had my concerns about this because this is basically a full boost setup and it may damage my cousins non-modified engine.
Another thing is how can you tell if everything is hooked up right. I know you have to put a load on the engine for the components to work, but if you put a load on it and the shit aint hooked up right then you're SOL.
