Alright, I guess I am putting this out in the wrong way. When my car is supposed to be running a low 16 to a high 15, and I am sitting there running 17's, so I switch to wider tires with better traction, only to run a .2 seconds faster (which like I said can be due to shifting because I even ran 17.2 and a 17.3 on the wider tires), to me wasn't all that much.
To shed more light on my point of view.....were I running 14.3's and then ran a 14.1, sheet yeah I would be happy.
Even more light is................were I running 25.0's and then ran a 24.8, I would not be happy.
See what I am getting at.........it's all relative.
