Yes they can tell someone who knows what they are doing build the tranny, but Honda doesnt want to do that. They rather build eveything themselves and design things. Cause If they did give it to someone who knows what they are doing...I'm sure their reliability factor would jump up even more and you know Honda cant do that

I wonder myself why 97-99 Ludes are not covered under extended warantee. I mean thye must figure those cars are already pretty old and they dont want the hassle of paying for all those rebuilds. If you think about it. Honda stopped making Prelude, The new Accord just came out, Oddesy is being changed as well. So you figure these cars have flaws and with the new cars they must have resolved the issue. I'm hoping they did.
