He took a gamble by running and getting his knife out that he would be able to fight them off, and that's certainly his right to try. Also, he has at least some training in this area, but even so, there was the element of luck in his ability to win. Your average person on the street would probably not be so lucky.

I couldn't tell you what I would do in such a situation... I'd like to say I would give them what they want, but who knows, :hs: I could be in a shitty mood that day and would not even care if I died or not... you never know :dunno: things are always different when your looking from the outside of the window
