Ive got an 06 Accord EXL auto w/ I4. Car has plenty of power to satisfy the average driver... it can out accelerate many V6s from a few years ago. It's also smoother, quieter and more refined than a typical 4-cylinder engine. When I'm driving the car, I forget that it's only a 2.4 I4. Interior isn't as solid as traditional Hondas (much more hard plastics used and rattles) but is very upscale in it's design. Handling is good for the class (more nimble than the Camry) but may not be the best in the class. The stock tires don't do the car much justice. IMO, the V6 is overkill. If you want a fast car, buy a fast car. The I4 is more than enough engine for the Accord, and nobody builds a more reliable, longer lasting 4-cylinder engine than Honda (IMO) They built their reputation on 4-bangers and have over 30+ years experience with them.
