My third gear grinds when im at high rpms. It doesnt grind on me if I take it easy. Well I called up a transmission place to see what exactly is wrong and how much to fix it. They said it was my plate on my third gear syncronizer and it would cost 200 for the plates for all syncronizers and about 700 for the labor. I was just going to leave it till it got bad. But know im woundering if theres any way I could just do it. I have worked on my car before such as:suspension, minor engine parts, and such. Do u guys think I should do it? Or do u have and imput on how to do it? What r your thoughts?
