Personally, I would fix the rod bearing since the motor is relatively new instead of spending more on another engine.

If you are going to be doing a turbo setup in the future, 10.6:1 compression ratio will not be your friend if you plan on keeping the internals stock.

Yeah, you C/R is going to need to be around 9:1 if you want high boost!!
