if you're pushing files across a network all day, then you'll see some issues between wireless and wired.

As far as basic use (downloading, network file sharing, etc) ... these G cards are very good. You won't even see a difference. On my Motorola G, I can still hit download speeds of 700mb, compared to a wired of 740ish.
