Default For all you Evil Dead Fans

So I was searching backstage jobs and found this one on playbill...

http://www.playbill.com/jobs/find/job_detail/11427.html

Title Evil Dead The Musical-EPAs
Category Performer
Description Seeking:

Note: ALL ACTORS must possess EXTREME COMIC ABILITY, be strong vocalists, move very well and have great horror movie screams. Actors will also be required to do some stunt and combat work -- during the course of the show, actors will be covered in stage blood, rolling in stage blood and splattered with stage blood. The best preparation for auditioning for this show is to watch “Evil Dead 1,” Evil Dead 2,” and “Army of Darkness.”

Ash: Male, 21-26. Ideally, bears some physical resemblance to Bruce Campbell, star of the “Evil Dead” movies -- at least six feet tall, dark hair, lean with sharp features. Our young and gallant hero, he can also play the uneasy wimp. Many physical stage stunts required, such as tumbling, combat, rolling and smashing breakables on his head. Tenor who can hit an A.

Annie / Shelly: Female, 20-27. Very sexy blonde bombshell who is able to play a collegiate tramp one minute, then a mature, strong-willed woman the next. Actress portrays two very different characters: Shelly: Scott’s trampy and dim-witted girlfriend. Very voluptuous; Comfortable in skimpy clothing. Great comic timing. Also plays Annie: Daughter of Professor Knowby. An archeologist in the Tia Carrere/”Relic Hunter” vein. Very fit; strong features and a strong presence. Singing voice: comfortable mezzo-soprano.

Cheryl: Female, 19-25. Ash’s homely sister. Physically, has some features that resemble or complement her brother (See Bruce Campbell reference in “Ash” description above). Physical body type: medium to larger frame. Quiet and reserved, she later transforms into a deadly, jive-talking zombie. Excellent comic timing and very skilled. Actor must also be comfortable in confined spaces. Funky urban singing voice a la Beyoncé or Alicia Keys.

Scott: Male, 21-26. Handsome in a frat boy way. Shorter than Ash (5’10” and under) with a nice build. Ash’s potty-mouth best friend. A solid comic performer; this character is very similar to that of Steve Stiffler from the “American Pie” movies. Tenor.

Linda: Female, 19-25. Ash’s beautiful girlfriend. Brunette; very beautiful in a girl-next-door kind of way, with an attractive body. Also becomes a zombie, requiring a strong “undead” character voice. Singing voice: balladic soprano.

Jake: Male, 22-30. Trailer-park hick who helps find the lost cabin. Character actor, physically of a good size, with strong facial expressions who can give comic life to a back-water hick who is a regular, reliable guy. Strong comic performer who can speak trailer park slang. Broadway baritone.

Ed / Evil Moose: Male, 22-30. Annie’s archeologist boyfriend. Actor must be able to deliver a strong comic performance without saying anything, as Annie always cuts him off at the first syllable whenever he attempts to speak - - that is, until his big number. Tall, handsome and preppy. Actor also plays the role of the Moose Head hung on the wall when it becomes possessed by a Candarian demon. Singing voice: commanding bass; also must be able to sing with a fun “moose” voice.
