How though? It's just me the wife, no kids... I did ... shhh.. at one point accidently open his case and knocked out a resistor from his modem, but dam guy had an extra modem. Was going to do it again but the wife gave me a weird look.

Nope... my father would not allow that since he belives this will help the uncle get on his feet faster. The wife and I got volunteered into this without us giving the ok. Like I said, that family thing you are suppose to do.
Sounds like you need to put your foot down. Sure he's family, but he's taking you taking you for granted, and family doesn't do that.
You would think that, yes. It's my dad's fault mostly... he still practice the old ways...
I'm asian, if that would explain much of this "family honor" I'm suppose to abid by.
