Speaking of grip, I went to the strip recently and turned the same (within .2 seconds of each other) 60-ft times with my 380 treadwear, A traction 185/65/R14 sumitomo's as I did with my 280 treadwear, AA traction 205/45/R16 Kumho's. What does that mean?....................I don't know, someone tell me. Keep in mind this was purely straight line acceleration, and I know the Kumho's are better autocross tires. I am talking pure straight traction.
.2 is a HUGE difference in 60'. You're talking .3-.4 seconds off your 1/4 with that difference.
