Used or junkyard transmissions are a gamble at best IMO.
I went through 2 used transmissions on my GTi before giving in and rebuilding the stock unit. I would recommend a rebuild instead.
It may cost more, but the benefit of having warranteed work and guaranteed results are worth the added expense IMO. :shrug:
