Just disable the fuel injection by removing the 15amp fuse in the panel by the battery. How would the ICM get damaged when you're pulling the ignition wires and spark plugs with the fuel injectors disabled?
My teacher said the spark makes it way back from wherever disconnected (lets say top of dizzy) back through the coil and eventually to the module which fries it.
Edit: so I should pull both fuses?
